September is one of the greatest times of the year for anyone who lives for the outdoors. Across most of the U.S., it marks the start of hunting season. Dove hunts in Texas, elk hunts out West. The pursuits are endless, and for those of us addicted to it, the energy is unmatched.
The elk rut in September is one of the most powerful wildlife spectacles on earth. Whether you’re a hunter or not, standing there and hearing bulls scream, watching them chase cows, and witnessing the chaos as they fight for dominance is unforgettable.
In “Locked Up”, I wanted to freeze that raw moment, the clash, the fury, and the giant swords they carry on their heads.
